Wings for Life is a race to gather funds to help those with spinal cord damage. Created by Red Bull’s founder, Dietrich Mateschitz, this race, like other Red Bull events, has a twist: a car kicks off those who are not keeping up with the race. Participants compete against the whole world, with no pre-determined mile quantity to run, the winner is whoever keeps running.
